    o Retail Punishment Pt. 6
    Saturday August 20, 2005
Well, it's hard to believe but September 13th is almost upon us, which means the national retail release for our first three titles, Rikets' Anything for the Devil, Trigger Point's A Silent Protest and Shenoah's Bleeding in the Red are fast at hand.

I've been getting tons of emails from people asking where the record will be available so I just wanted to give a quick update.

As of now, our titles should be available at pretty much all major retailers including Tower, Best Buy, Wherehouse, FYE, The Exclusive Company, Virgin, etc, as well as most indie stores that carry a lot of Rock/Metal.

Also, Trigger Point will be on sale through September at all Southern California Wherehouse stores (and you get a free Poster with purchase), and in October both Trigger Point and Rikets will be on sale at all Tower stores throughout the Southwest.

If for some reason you can't find any of our titles at any of these stores, or any store for that matter, make sure you tell them. We would also like to send huge thanks again to all the fans and friends of CPR. Without you NONE of this would have been possible.

o Rikets AFTD review on Blabbermouth
    Monday August 15, 2005
Blabbermouth.net has posted a review of Rikets Anything for the Devil. Surprisingly it's not that bad, which should definitely raise the ire of the "True Metal" contingent.

o Join the CPR Field Staff!
    Sunday August 14, 2005
Have you ever dreamed of working for an up-and-coming record label? Well, here's your chance.

CPR is assembling a team of dedicated "Field Reps" in various cities around the US to assist us on a regional level in various retail and promotion oriented functions.

As a member of the Field Staff your duties would include: Doing stock counts, setting up displays, and raising awareness of current and upcoming CPR titles at local music retailers, distributing promotional materials to local retail and lifestyle outlets, promoting upcoming CPR events in your area, and letting us know about great up and coming bands. In essence, you will be our eyes and ears in your area, and will play an intricate role in the development of Corporate Punishment Records and our bands.

This is an UNPAID position, but the perks are limitless. As a member you will receive promotional copies of all CPR titles, as well as tons of promotional materials, concert tickets, etc. Also, please note this is not a "Street Team", this is an actual job, and thusly only a select few people will be chosen to participate. You can put it on your resume, and if available, we can give you college credit as well.

Qualified applicants must be 18+, dedicated as hell, and own (or have access to) a car, and not be afraid of a little old fashioned hard work.

Think you have what it takes? Head over to the contact page and send us an email and tell us why.

Currently we are seeking reps in the following markets: Los Angeles, New York City, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinatti, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, Miami, Jacksonville, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, St. Louis, Kansas City, Houston, Dallas, Austin, El Paso, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Denver, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Madison, Indianapolis, Washington DC, and New Orleans.

If you are outside of one of these areas, don't fret as we will be expanding the program soon to include other areas. Please feel free to email us anyway, and we will keep you in mind for future consideration.
