    o CPR welcomes RE:Ignition!
    Monday January 30, 2006
CORPORATE PUNISHMENT RECORDS AND ARCHETYPE MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCE SIGNING OF RE:IGNITION (EX-SKINLAB)

Archetype Management (Fear Factory, Mnemic) and Corporate Punishment Records are proud to announce the addition of Re:Ignition - the newest powerhouse to emerge from the thriving Bay Area Metal scene, to the CPR fold.

Re:Ignition, which features in it’s ranks Steev Esquivel and Snake formerly of SKINLAB, will be the latest addition to an already booming Corporate Punishment roster that boasts recent and upcoming releases from Alt/Metal Heavyweights including Switched, Allele (ex-Cold/Otep), Ghost Machine (ex-Motograter), Trigger Point and more.

CPR, whose titles are manufactured and distributed by the Navarre Corporation, has been making waves in the independent world since their inception, with both their Artist-friendly business model, and shrewd A&R and Marketing directives.

Band manager and Archetype President Christy Priske says, "I'm excited to have RE:IGNITION be a part of the new wave of partnership record labels where a band not only receives the fairest royalty share of record sales, but can establish themselves without signing their life away."

“We are very excited to be signing with such a hard working label like Corporate Punishment Records”, says guitarist Steev Esquivel. “Thom and staff are at the top of their game. With bands like Switched, Alelle and Ghost Machine, we feel CPR will be a great home for Re:Ignition. We've managed to make the album of our lives, and we found a label that understands that!”

Corporate Punishment President Thom Hazaert agrees. “Re:Ignition is a great band, and we are all very excited to have them on board. To us, CPR is more about family and friends, and we go back many years with some of these guys. They are both amazing musicians, and great people, and It will be great to take a stab at something new with them.”

CPR will release the bands as-yet-untitled debut LP in Summer 2006.

Catch Re:ignition live at the Los Angeles House of Blues, Tuesday, Jan. 31 with Fear Factory, Strung Out & Fireball Ministry, at the LA benefit for A PLACE CALLED HOME

o Switched joins Allele in Mediabase Indie Top 10!
    Friday January 13, 2006
As if Allele's dominance of the Mediabase Active Rock Independent charts wasn't enough, with "Closer to Habit" so far logging over a solid month at #3, now Switched's "Empty Promises" has cracked the Top Ten. With new adds this week at WJJO/Madison and WZOR/Green Bay, the track is currently sitting at #7. So, for those of you that are counting, that's TWO CPR artists comfortably in the top 10. And last but not least, our newest addition Ghost Machine is already coming to the party, sitting at #25.
